About Greg Owen:
Always one of the most consistent players on Tour since gaining his card at the 1997 Qualifying School, achieved his maiden victory in his 158th start when he won The 2003 Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters at the Marriott Forest of Arden. Another great achievement had come in the 130th Open Golf Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes . Run by snooker promoter Barry Hearn since 1999, now sponsored by EmpirePoker.com. Married Jacqueline the same year, a week before securing his card at the Victor Chandler British Masters at Woburn, where he finished fourth. Went out and claimed third place at the Trophée Lancôme the following week. Finished the last three seasons in the top 40 on the Volvo Order of Merit.
